Vice President, Global Employment Law

• Lead IPO readiness and public governance by designing and fortifying global workforce practices to meet IPO and public market scrutiny.
• Evolve the employment law function into a mature, preventative corporate asset, scaling regional leadership and implementing scalable legal frameworks.
• Serve as principal legal advisor to the Executive Leadership Team and Board on high-stakes human capital initiatives, global expansions, and risk management.
• Establish and defend global labor strategy, including worker classification frameworks and proactive labor relations strategies.

This role ensures Lime's global workforce practices are compliant, equitable, and aligned with public market standards, enabling the company to scale its mission of providing shared, affordable, and carbon-free transportation while protecting employee rights and fostering a culture of compliance and psychological safety.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar license in good standing.
• 12+ years of legal experience specializing in employment law, with significant tenure leading a corporate employment law department or as a senior partner.
• Proven track record designing and scaling cross-border legal frameworks across diverse international jurisdictions, with deep US multi-state compliance expertise.
• Experience managing and developing senior legal talent across multiple international jurisdictions.
