Vice President, Business Development, Distributed - Dynamic Energy

• Strategic Market Development: Identify and prioritize new markets, products, and partnerships to expand our distributed generation portfolio.
• Sales Leadership & Pipeline Management: Lead sales teams to drive customer acquisition, close deals, and manage project financing.
• Customer & Relationship Management: Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers for long-term contracts.
• AI & Technology Integration: Champion adoption of AI and digital tools for lead generation and proposal management.

This role creates positive change by driving growth in distributed renewable energy projects across the U.S., which helps decarbonize the grid and bring more clean energy online.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field (required).
• 7–10 years in distributed generation, renewable energy, or utility-scale project development, with 5+ years in business development or commercial leadership.
• Proven success leading multi-state sales teams and managing complex negotiations in DER.
• Deep knowledge of solar and battery storage development, interconnection, permitting, and PPA structuring.

The expected starting pay range for this role is $125,000 - $145,000 USD with a commission structure. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels.
