Venue Sales Representative

• Engage face-to-face with customers at events, retail spaces, or through door-knocking in local communities to promote energy tariffs and low-carbon technologies like solar panels, heat pumps, and electric vehicles
• Introduce local communities to Octopus Energy as a preferred potential supplier by comparing services and products with other energy companies
• Ensure every conversation delivers outstanding customer service and helps potential customers make informed decisions about switching to Octopus Energy

This role helps make energy greener and better for everyone by promoting low-carbon technologies and sustainable energy solutions directly to communities.

• Love engaging with customers, have confidence, and enjoy delivering excellent customer service (no sales experience necessary)
• High energy and ability to confidently communicate with potential customers
• Experience in customer-centric settings with quick and effective solution-finding
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams to influence and inspire
• Clear communicator with focus on listening and attention to detail
• Honest, focused, and committed to delivering highest levels of customer service
• Driving license for travel to different venues across locations
• Able to work weekend and evening shifts

• £28,300 base salary + unlimited commission (with realistic commission earnings of £10,000+ per year)
