US Frontier Policy Lead

Core responsibilities:

• Lead the design and execution of US frontier AI policy strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities
• Navigate and shape discussions across DC and state landscapes on AI governance and policies for supporting adoption of frontier AI
• Build and maintain high-trust relationships with key government stakeholders and the technical policy community
• Deliver multi-channel policy campaigns and build coalitions on important issues such as AI for Science

This role shapes frontier AI policy in the United States to ensure AI is developed safely and responsibly for widespread public benefit, fostering innovation while addressing national security and societal challenges.

Required skills and experience:

• Experience working within or closely with US government, preferably in technology policy, national security, science or related roles
• Deep understanding of the frontier AI landscape, including technical nuances of language models, agents, and socio-technical challenges
• Proven track record of leading high-impact policy design and advocacy, ideally within the technology sector
• Strong grasp of technology policy with ability to quickly master complex technical and governance issues related to AI
