UNPAID VOLUNTEER - Principal Learning and Development Officer (PLO)

Core responsibilities:

• Lead and support the identification of learning and training needs across the Institute
• Lead the curation and/or creation of learning and training opportunities for volunteers
• Lead the design and delivery of training initiatives to address identified needs within the skills and competencies framework
• Administer evaluations to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of current and future learning and training sessions, courses, and resources

This role helps BCI research, identify, and analyze applications of emerging technologies like blockchain to support informed decisions by stakeholders in the climate change and action network, contributing to environmental good.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Background in learning design or the development of corporate education
• Strong pedagogical understanding for the basis of well-designed education products
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using Learning Management Systems like Moodle
• Degree or professional training in Online Learning Design, Learning and Development, or Online Learning
