UNPAID VOLUNTEER - Chief Technology Officer (CTO) / Deputy CTO

Core responsibilities:

• Define and execute the BCI technology strategy and roadmap for projects and initiatives
• Build, lead and manage the Emerging Technology Division and Standards Development Bureau
• Research and identify the best data sets and AI models for use cases and objectives
• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using DLT/Blockchain, IoT, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Data Modelling, Quantum and associated tooling

This role contributes to the global fight against climate change by applying blockchain and other emerging technologies to support informed decisions by governments, organizations, and corporations in the climate action network.

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in DLT/Blockchain, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Data Modelling or related field
• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks for DLT/Blockchain, data analysis and AI development (Solidity, Python, R, TensorFlow, etc.)
• Experience in leading and managing technology teams and projects using agile methodologies
