Underwriter (Home Improvement Loans)

• Review and assess new finance applications to ensure timely and compliant processing within agreed mandate.
• Manage inbound underwriting-related communication via telephone, email, and portal from customers and third parties.
• Identify and handle complaints, ensuring fair customer outcomes and adherence to FCA regulations.

This role ensures fair treatment of customers in lending decisions, supporting Tandem's mission to empower sustainable financial choices and reduce environmental impact.

• Evidenced underwriting experience.
• Previous experience in UK-based financial services with regulatory appreciation is desirable.
• Demonstrable knowledge of FCA rules, CCA, and GDPR regulations.
• Proficiency in administrative tasks and call handling.
