Underwriter (Home Improvement Loans)

• Review and assess new finance applications to ensure timely and compliant processing within agreed mandate.
• Handle inbound communications (telephone, email, portal) from customers and third parties regarding underwriting.
• Identify and manage complaints, ensuring fair customer outcomes and adherence to FCA regulations.

This role ensures fair and responsible lending decisions, empowering customers to make sustainable home improvements while supporting Tandem's mission to lower environmental impact.

• Evidenced underwriting experience.
• Previous experience in UK-based financial services with regulatory appreciation is desirable.
• Demonstrable knowledge of FCA rules, CCA, and GDPR regulations.
• Strong administrative and call handling skills.
