Transmission Fellow - Carbon-Free Electricity Program

• Support RMI on projects to advance transmission expansion and improve related market structures.
• Analyze data to discover new insights, challenges, and opportunities in the energy sector.
• Conduct qualitative analysis and interviews, synthesize recommendations into clear reports.
• Engage with external experts and stakeholders to advance project deliverables.

This role helps train new experts in US transmission system complexities, advancing the grid build-out needed for an affordable, reliable power sector, thereby accelerating the clean energy transition.

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience OR a master's degree in applicable areas (STEM, policy, finance, etc.).
• Genuine passion for driving positive change in the energy transition space.
• Strong interest in and understanding of challenges and opportunities within the energy sector.
• Project management skills and strong communication skills.
