Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Act as an internal subject matter expert to implement ideal modeling assumptions and ensure high-quality data with external partners
- Work on economic modeling projects related to transmission congestion analysis, LMP basis risk, energy curtailment risk, and renewable energy development
- Develop strategy to attain grid operator cases directly and manage FERC processes
- Assist software development teams with integrating models into the cloud ecosystem and formatting/delivering data

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Experience in transmission planning, renewable grid integration studies, power system economics, or related areas
- Previous consulting experience (EPE, Siemens, LEIDOS, etc.) or utility/ISO experience (CAISO, PJM, SPP, etc.)
- Working knowledge of power system studies and experience with PSS/E, TARA, and powerflow modeling solutions
- MSEE or Ph.D. degree and deep understanding of interconnection queue processes
