What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Undertake research: design and deliver the two-year agenda; produce papers, briefs, and blogs; prepare datasets and replication files where feasible
- Policy design: translate findings into implementable options with quick wins and medium-term paths
- Stakeholder engagement: conduct interviews and consultations, support convenings; maintain action trackers and focal-point logs; document decisions
- Knowledge & comms: create slide decks, blogs/op-eds; ensure donor visibility compliance

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Advanced degree (Master's, MPhil, or PhD) in Economics, Labor Economics, International Trade, International Development, or other related field
- Up to eight (8) years of relevant and broad research experience in services/industry linkages, digital & firm productivity, trade/export, economic transformation, or PFM/public debt management
- Strong technical and quantitative skills, knowledge of statistical and econometric techniques (Stata/R/Python), and their use in economic analysis
- Excellent oral and written communication and experience in translating research findings into policy options and facilitating cross-sector dialogues
