Traffic / ITS Engineer – REMOTE

Core responsibilities:

• Support a team of professionals to deliver traffic analysis, forecasting, safety studies, traffic simulation, conceptual planning/design, plan sheets, specifications & estimates, technical memoranda, reports, presentations, and other project documentation
• Serve in various roles on traffic/ITS projects, actively participating in the team's production of technical deliverables and coordinating with other discipline groups, external clients, and sub-consultants
• Deliver assigned tasks on schedule and budget while adhering to quality standards, performing work independently with little supervision, and coordinating with Business Development leaders to capture project opportunities
• Work with Early in Career staff, help review technical work and project documentation, and support remote operations and growth in specified regions

Required qualifications:

• Experience in traffic analysis, forecasting, safety studies, traffic simulation, and conceptual planning/design for traffic or ITS projects
• Ability to produce technical deliverables such as plans, specifications, estimates, reports, and memorandums, following the systems engineering process for ITS or emerging technology projects
• Proficiency in working independently, delivering tasks on schedule and budget, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
• Capability to support remote operations and growth in regions including Wisconsin, Montana, Wyoming, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Indiana, Ohio, New Mexico, and Idaho
