Traffic / ITS Engineer – REMOTE

Core responsibilities:

• Support a team of professionals to deliver traffic analysis, forecasting, safety studies, traffic simulation, conceptual planning/design, plan sheets, specifications & estimates, technical memoranda, reports, presentations, and other project documentation
• Serve in various roles on traffic/ITS projects, actively participating in the team's production of technical deliverables and coordinating with other discipline groups, external clients, and sub-consultants
• Deliver assigned tasks on schedule and budget while adhering to quality standards, performing work independently with little supervision, and coordinating with Business Development leaders to capture project opportunities
• Work with Early in Career staff, help review technical work and project documentation, and independently perform all tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works

Required qualifications:

• Experience in traffic analysis, forecasting, safety studies, traffic simulation, and conceptual planning/design for traffic or ITS projects
• Ability to support remote operations and growth in specific US states (Wisconsin, Montana, Wyoming, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Indiana, Ohio, New Mexico, Idaho)
• Proficiency in producing technical deliverables including plans, specifications, estimates, reports, memorandums, and presentations
• Experience following the systems engineering process for ITS or emerging technology projects and working with multidisciplinary teams
