Mission

What you will drive

  • Conduct educational presentations and organize public events about trade policy across the Midwest.
  • Recruit and train local spokespeople to advocate for trade justice.
  • Build volunteer groups and coordinate campaign tactics such as policymaker meetings, petitions, and demonstrations.
  • Participate in national coordinating meetings and prepare weekly reports.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • At least three years of organizing experience (professional or volunteer), including giving presentations, recruiting volunteers, and organizing events.
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable with public speaking, meeting facilitation, writing, and cold calling.
  • Extremely detail-oriented, deadline-focused, and able to handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work within a budget and report on work; fluency in languages besides English is a plus.
