Texas Executive Director

• Set vision and lead execution of strategies to drive impact for students, educators, and communities in Texas.
• Advance teacher leadership, voice, and advocacy to improve student outcomes.
• Create and steward a network of champions including funders, coalitions, and donors.
• Build and sustain enabling conditions for impact through staffing, people management, and budget oversight.

This role directly improves educational equity and student outcomes by empowering teachers to influence policy and practice, ensuring that the voices of experienced educators shape systemic change in Texas.

• Proven ability to set and evaluate strategies for local impact using quantitative and qualitative goals.
• Strong skills in building professional networks, fundraising ($350K-$2M annually), and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in people management, talent development, and coaching.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to inspire and motivate diverse audiences.

Base salary of $140,000 with merit-based annual bonus and potential for higher revenue targets.
