What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Build a state-level engagement and communication plan that enhances the voice and goals of student leaders, campus staff, administrators, and other anti-hunger champions
  • Track partner needs and connect them to relevant resources and opportunities, and assist with organizing and hosting virtual and in-person events
  • Coordinate logistics for campus visits, including scheduling, materials preparation, and follow-up, and assist in building and sustaining relationships with corporate and community partners
  • Create and update resources for partners such as toolkits, guides, and event materials, and draft content for newsletters, email updates, and social media

What makes you a great fit

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in hunger relief, poverty solutions, nonprofit program support, or a related field
  • Strong project coordination skills with ability to manage multiple priorities, and excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable building relationships with diverse stakeholders including students, funders, and community organizations, and highly organized with strong follow through
  • Proactive problem solver who can adapt to changing needs, with commitment to equity and the mission of Swipe Out Hunger
