Test Manager (12 month Fixed Term Contract)

Core responsibilities of the Test Manager:

• Lead and coordinate the Test Team, including planning, monitoring, and controlling test activities and tasks
• Prepare and maintain organizational test strategies, manage test work packages, and implement continuous improvement to testing processes and controls
• Handle line management of team members including hiring, training, mentoring, and motivating
• Collaborate with key colleagues and senior stakeholders to support implementation of new technologies or upgrades to existing software

Required skills and experience:

• Several years practical experience in software testing and strong hands-on software testing experience
• Experience in a similar Test Manager/Test Lead role with demonstrable planning and organizational skills
• Detailed understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and Software Test Lifecycle
• Expertise in defining test strategies, test plans, and test execution approaches
• Experience with planning and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and test planning/management tools (e.g., Zephyr)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
