Test Manager (12 month Fixed Term Contract)

Core responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the Test Team, including planning, monitoring, and controlling test activities and tasks
• Prepare and maintain organizational test strategies, manage test work packages, and implement continuous improvement to testing processes and controls
• Oversee overall testing efforts, manage test resources, create and implement test strategies, and ensure testing aligns with the bank's goals
• Hire, train, mentor, and motivate team members, including line management of several test team members and test leads

This role contributes to Tandem's mission as the UK's greener digital bank by ensuring high-quality software implementation that supports the bank's quest to revolutionize saving, borrowing, spending, and sharing while nurturing the planet, people, and customers.

Required qualifications:

• Several years of practical experience in software testing roles with strong hands-on software testing experience
• Experience in a similar Test Manager/Test Lead role with demonstrable planning and organizational skills
• Detailed understanding of software development lifecycle and software test lifecycle with expertise in defining test strategies, plans, and execution approaches
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in stakeholder management, test estimation, and test reporting

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary up to £55,000 plus bonus and benefits
