Test Analyst

Core responsibilities:

• Analyze application requirements and design documents, develop test plans and protocols that comply with business guidelines
• Execute tests and document results, manage defects to ensure software rollouts are technically fit for purpose and meet operational/business needs
• Work collaboratively with delivery teams to deliver new or upgraded software at the highest possible quality standards
• Define and produce test artifacts that align with agreed test methodology and processes for all applicable test phases

Required skills and experience:

• Demonstrable proficiency in a software testing role with suitable practical experience
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and different delivery methodologies
• Sound working knowledge of the Software Test Lifecycle
• Experience in defining and creating test cases, completing test execution and defect management
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 plus up to 20% bonus
