Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Phonebank through Bend the Arc member lists to have relational organizing conversations that move members toward in-person action
  • Track progress and results of conversations in database systems and coordinate with chapter leaders and national staff
  • Lead confirmation calls for people who RSVP or sign up to mobilizations, direct actions, phonebanks, or in-person events
  • Provide insight and feedback on phonebanking scripts and approaches

This role supports online to offline organizing by engaging digital action takers in direct actions and mobilizations, helping build a multiracial democracy and fight white supremacy, antisemitism, and racism.

What makes you a great fit

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Strength in working as a self-starter with strong administrative and time-management skills
  • Prior organizing experience building one-to-one relationships and engaging individuals to take action
  • Comfort and experience engaging strangers over the phone through various scenarios with strong verbal communication skills
  • Competency in Google platforms and comfort with learning other technology systems (Slack, Nation Builder, Scale to Win, Signal, Zoom, Mobilize)
