Technical Support Associate - HVAC/R

Core responsibilities:

• Research and identify solutions to various problems related to energy-saving solutions including HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, and metering
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technology, systems, and equipment with customers and 3rd party vendors
• Track customer issues through to resolution within agreed time limits and provide prompt feedback
• Prioritize and manage multiple tickets and projects while delivering training to vendors on systems and technologies

This role supports Budderfly's energy-saving solutions that reduce global carbon emissions for small to medium sized enterprises, directly contributing to environmental sustainability through technical expertise in HVAC/R systems.

Required skills and experience:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a customer-focused technical position
• Hands-on field experience with HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems
• Industry-specific certification in HVAC, Refrigeration or Electrical preferred
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and time-management skills with ability to work flexible hours

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary range: $65,000 - $80,000 USD
