Technical Sales and Business Development Representative

• Generate leads and provide tailored training sessions for potential clients to educate them on the company's wood-based products
• Provide support to early projects with existing customers and introduce latest wood-based product development and new products
• Provide feedback to R&D on market needs and required new products from customers & stakeholders
• Negotiate offers both internally and externally to close sales and win orders, including specifying discounts for key projects

This role promotes sustainable wood-based products that can reduce carbon emissions in construction, contributing to environmental sustainability through renewable materials.

• Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Structural Engineering, Wood Science and Engineering, or a related field
• 1 year of related work experience including: Sales and Business Development in building and construction; Mass timber products and Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT); Customer Relationship Management (CRM); CAD work & Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Experience working with US national building codes, performing scheme designs, preliminary structural calculations, 3D CAD models, quantity take-offs and feasibility studies
• Knowledge of building regulations and design process, mass timber literature, data, and industry reports, sustainability and carbon calculations, site logistics, installation methods, and program times

Salary range: $85,197 - $170,500 per year. Employees have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) plan, short-term/long-term disability plans, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, business travel insurance, supplemental life and flexible spending accounts, 6 sick days and paid holidays in each calendar year. Individuals may be paid a discretionary bonus depending on company results.
