Mission
What you will drive
As a Technical Lead (Senior Engineer II), you will:
- Lead technical discovery, architectural design, and development of scalable, resilient systems for Kaluza's Energy Retail platform
- Own products end-to-end from shaping technical direction through to deployment, monitoring, and iteration based on real-world feedback
- Mentor engineers, contribute to cross-team initiatives, and help define the future direction of the platform
- Participate in support rota to triage platform issues and respond to incidents, maintaining high reliability standards

What makes you a great fit
Ideal candidates will have:
- Strong engineering fundamentals with solid proficiency in TypeScript and experience building scalable, resilient, observable systems in production
- Experience with modern engineering practices including test automation, continuous delivery, and agile methodologies
- Ability to work with technologies like GitHub Actions, Terraform, Kubernetes, Serverless, DynamoDB/Postgres, AWS, and DataDog
- Proven track record as a collaborative team player who enjoys mentoring others and contributing to technical decision-making
