Technical Lead

• Collaborate closely with product, design, and marketing teams to define, architect, and build new features and enhancements for our platform, with a specific focus on best-in-class user experiences
• Define platform architecture and strategy to scale while maintaining high performance
• Maintain high code quality standards on the team with a focus on clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Oversee and guide the technical work of contractor engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and engineering standards

This role helps Blueland create innovative products that divert single-use plastic bottles from landfills and oceans and reduce CO2 emissions, making business a force for good by combining mission and profit.

• 5+ years hands on development experience with a focus on React
• 2+ years in an engineering team lead role
• Strong understanding of headless e-commerce and its applications; Shopify experience is a must
• Experience in a fast-paced, highly iterative product development process

The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $180,000 per year.
