Responsibilities

• Organize installations and trainings for farm staff on shrimp stunners in coordination with shrimp producers and stunner manufacturers
• Supervise and support stunner installations and technical operation trainings for farm staff on farm sites
• Collect data on the implementation of humane slaughter in shrimp farms and coordinate with relevant parties to collect the data
• Support with engaging with producers and seafood companies to secure their commitments to humane slaughter

Required skills and qualifications:

• Fluent in English and Vietnamese (speaking and writing)
• Based in Vietnam (preferably in the south)
• Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively in Asia (including Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and India)
• Willing to work at shrimp farm conditions for short periods of time (less than 5 days at a time)
• Proactiveness, strong interpersonal skills, strong organizational and coordination skills, strong problem-solving skills
• High level of attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Knowledge/experience in aquaculture is a plus
