Technical & Commercial Programs (f/m/d)

As Technical & Commercial Programs Manager, you'll be the driving force behind acquiring funded projects and turning them into real-world impact. You'll own programs end-to-end, from strategy, to grant application, through execution to delivery. You'll work at the intersection of technology, business, and external partnerships, ensuring our projects don't just get approved but actually happen.

• Own and execute Phlair’s public funding strategy, translating company milestones into a clear pipeline of partnerships, and funded projects. You own the strategy, roadmap, and execution
• Drive funded projects from kick-off to completion: you're accountable for milestones, deliverables, and outcomes
• Represent Phlair at industry events, conferences, and working groups: build our visibility and network in the climate tech ecosystem
• Support in RFPs and wider commercial, customer-facing efforts

This role enables scalable CO₂ capture through breakthrough technology, working to remove millions of tons of CO₂ from the atmosphere and provide clean energy solutions that go beyond carbon removal.

• A BSc or MSc in a STEM or business-related field, with exposure to technology and engineering topics
• Early experience in commercial roles such as business development or sales, ideally in deep tech or the energy sector, with a strong preference for fast-paced startup and scale-up environments
• Strong understanding of funding regulations, compliance requirements and reporting obligations
• Strong interest in climate policy and regulatory frameworks and how they translate into demand, budgets, and purchasing decisions for climate technologies
• Strong communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
