Technical Advisor, Cardiovascular Health (CVH) - India

• Provide technical and programmatic assistance in the design and implementation of hypertension and diabetes treatment and control activities, including capacity-building, planning, implementation processes, health information systems, and strengthening supervision and mentorship of service providers and supervisors.
• Support strengthening of comprehensive primary health care in delivery of hypertension and diabetes services integrated with other national priorities like HIV/AIDS, RMNCHA+, nutrition, and tuberculosis, based on evidence-based standards.
• Work with partners and project teams to establish systems for tracking progress, indicators, and deliverables according to agreed work-plans to ensure partner and donor requirements are met.
• Support development of knowledge management products, prepare technical presentations, programme reports, FAQs, scientific manuscripts, and policy briefs, as needed, for policy advocacy and program development.

This role contributes to improving cardiovascular health in India by supporting government and other partners to implement high quality, impactful hypertension control programming, helping save countless lives from cardiovascular disease.

• MBBS required, with post graduate degree in Public Health or equivalent a plus.
• Minimum eight years of professional experience in public health programming, including at least three years of working with national/state governments.
• Deep and broad knowledge base related to hypertension control including clinical protocols, drug supply, team-based care, data collection and analysis, and quality improvement.
• Excellent skills in oral and written communication, with strong command of English required and familiarity with regional Indian languages an advantage.

The salary for this role is competitive and set according to national labor rates for the NGO sector in India. The exact offer will be determined by various factors, such as the candidate's skills and experience relative to the requirements of the role.
