Tech Development Consultant (Contract)

Core responsibilities:

• Develop technology, workflow and data management solutions for internal use and client-specific projects using low-code platforms like Airtable and Notion
• Act as an intrapreneur by identifying operational efficiencies within CIMA, developing central databases and teamspaces, and finding integrations to empower the team
• Guide the entire application development process from design to implementation and support, including project scoping, timeline creation, and progress tracking
• Create training materials, train users, and coach/mentor other tech developers and interns through technology adoption processes

This role creates positive change by providing technology solutions that help nonprofits manage their data, create operational efficiencies, and evaluate the impact of their programs, ultimately advancing socially conscious causes.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with at least three years of experience (experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
• Proven success in client-facing project or account/project management roles with ability to distill client needs and guide adoption of new technology
• High level of experience with Airtable, Notion, and Make/Zapier required
• Experience with agile and/or lean startup project management methodologies
• Prior experience in Airtable and implementing complex automations/integrations that may require moderate coding ability
• Demonstrated appreciation for/commitment to social impact

Compensation and position details:

• Salary range: $45-60/hour
• Time commitment: Approximately 10 hours/week on average
• Contract position (not an employee position)
• Expected start date: 3/16/26
