Mission

What you will drive

We invites qualified external providers to submit proposals for the design and delivery of a Team Coaching Education programme. The tender details and requirements are outlined below.

1. Context and Purpose

The MSF Mentoring & Coaching Hub (MCHub) is launching a Team Coaching Education programme aimed at strengthening internal capacity to support teams across MSF to function more effectively, collaboratively, and with greater psychological safety.

The education is grounded in MSF’s operational realities and focuses on team dynamics, collective performance, and behavioural patterns, rather than individual coaching alone. The programme is intended to build a shared conceptual framework, practical skills, and applied learning that participants can use directly in their work with MSF teams.

As part of this process, MSF is issuing a tender to external providers to design and deliver the Team Coaching Education in alignment with MCHub objectives, MSF values, and procurement policies.

2. What We Are Seeking from External Providers

MSF is seeking an external provider (or provider team) with demonstrated expertise in team coaching, adult learning, and group facilitation, ideally within complex, multicultural, or humanitarian contexts.

The selected provider will be expected to:

  • Co-design and deliver a coherent Team Coaching Education programme
  • Ensure the education meets the requirements for EMCC accreditation (or equivalent recognised professional body), including learning outcomes, hours, assessment elements, and documentation
  • Align content with MSF values, ethical standards, and safeguarding requirements
  • Work in close partnership with the MCHub team throughout design and delivery
  • Balance conceptual frameworks, experiential learning, and practical application

Providers should demonstrate the ability to:

  • Educate participants on core team coaching concepts and methodologies
  • Facilitate psychologically safe, reflective, and challenging learning environments
  • Adapt content to MSF’s organisational and operational context

3. Expected Deliverables

Programme Design

  • A structured, EMCC-accreditable Team Coaching Education curriculum
  • Clear learning objectives and progression across modules
  • Integration of theory, practice, reflection, and application to MSF contexts

Programme Delivery

  • Delivery of a blended programme including:
  1. Face-to-face modules
  2. Online modules and facilitated virtual sessions
  • Delivery by experienced, credentialed team coaches/facilitators
  • Active learning approaches (group work, reflection, case-based learning)

Materials, Assessment, and Support

  • Participant learning materials (slides, exercises, handouts)
  • Assessment and evaluation elements required for EMCC accreditation
  • Support to MCHub for coordination and quality assurance as agreed
  • Participation in alignment and review meetings with MCHub
