Talent Mobilization Lead

Core responsibilities:

• Proactively identify and engage promising individuals across technical, policy, operational, and interdisciplinary domains
• Provide lightweight but high-value advisory support for career transitions and match individuals to priority-aligned roles across the ecosystem
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external field-building organizations to share intel and strengthen collective efforts
• Manage tooling for talent tracking and matchmaking, and improve scalable processes for high-quality introductions and placements

This role directly accelerates the progress of the AI safety field by ensuring the most capable minds are deployed where they're needed most, helping shape who works on what and when to change the trajectory of the entire field.

Required skills and experience:

• 6+ years of experience in talent development, recruiting, program management, or people operations, ideally in mission-driven, technical, or complex environments
• Strong interpersonal judgment and ability to hold high-trust, nuanced conversations with a wide range of stakeholders
• Strong operational instincts—organized, systems-minded, and able to triage, follow up, and execute effectively
• Familiarity with the AI safety ecosystem (or similar mission-driven technical fields) and excitement to contribute to its effectiveness and maturity

Compensation: $120,000 to $200,000 per year depending on experience
