Application Guide

How to Apply for Talent Acquisition Partner, EMEA

at Planet

🏢 About Planet

Planet operates the world's largest fleet of Earth-imaging satellites, providing daily, global coverage that empowers governments, researchers, and businesses to monitor and manage environmental and agricultural resources. Working here means joining a mission-driven team at the intersection of space technology, data science, and sustainability.

About This Role

As the Talent Acquisition Partner for EMEA, you will own full-cycle hiring across engineering, commercial, and G&A functions in Germany, the UK, and other European markets. Your work directly impacts Planet's ability to scale its diverse, global team and advance its mission of enabling impactful stewardship through satellite data.

💡 A Day in the Life

Start your day reviewing applicant pipelines and prioritizing roles based on urgency. You'll likely have a structured intake meeting with a hiring manager for a new senior engineering role, followed by sourcing sessions using LinkedIn and Boolean searches. Afternoon might include screening calls with candidates in the UK and Germany, then debriefing with a hiring manager on a shortlist. You'll end the day updating your ATS and planning sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions.
