Sustainable Foods Corporate Policy Program Manager

• Conduct large-scale outreach to food-industry companies across Europe via email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and in-person meetings to engage them on reducing animal-based ingredients.
• Build relationships with sustainability leads, procurement teams, and senior executives; educate companies on environmental and business benefits of plant-forward shifts.
• Compile country-specific scorecards benchmarking hospitality companies and secure concrete public plant-forward commitments.
• Represent the organization at relevant industry events and conferences.

This role directly reduces animal-based food purchasing by major food companies, leading to lower carbon emissions, reduced environmental impact, and a more sustainable food system.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to engage and persuade; sales, business development, or policy advocacy experience required.
• Success-driven personality with internal motivation to hit goals; ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Resilience in handling unanswered outreach or pushback; personal interest in sustainability, climate, or food systems.
• Willingness to travel occasionally across Europe; fluent English required; German language skills a bonus.
