Mission
What you will drive
- Own the sustainability reporting process, including data collection, validation, reconciliation, and collaboration on the annual sustainability report.
- Design, implement, and monitor internal controls over sustainability data and reporting processes, ensuring compliance with frameworks like California SB 253, SB 261, and GHG Protocol.
- Lead internal control design, documentation, and testing, and serve as primary contact for external assurance providers to advance from limited to reasonable assurance.
- Partner cross-functionally with sustainability strategy, product, and accounting teams to align metrics, provide subject matter expertise, and support financial reporting as needed.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 5+ years of experience in sustainability reporting, sustainability controllership, sustainability assurance, or SEC reporting.
- CPA certification or active pursuit preferred; familiarity with ISSA 5000 and experience with limited or reasonable assurance engagements.
- Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks (GHG Protocol, SASB, TCFD) and experience with California SB 253/SB 261 compliance.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to manage large datasets, and excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
