What you will drive
The Sustainability Consulting Team will serve as an internal consulting body within EngSoc. Members will work with other portfolios to improve environmental responsibility and sustainable practices across all EngSoc initiatives and act as advocates for environmental well-being on behalf of the student body.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with other directors/director teams to discuss their portfolios and sustainability goals/concerns.
- Research and provide recommendations grounded in policy, best practices, and environmental responsibility.
- Participate in regular strategy meetings to provide input, discuss ongoing initiatives, and help shape future projects. Share ideas and perspectives to enhance the society’s activities and priorities.
Team Lead: Leads the Sustainability team of 4 general members by heading meetings and projects while working closely with the Director of Equity and Advocacy. (Similar to a Project Manager)
