Sustainability Consultant

• Develop knowledge and skills in performance modelling, sustainability studies, low-carbon design, life cycle analysis, and green building standards & certifications
• Assist with the development of Sustainability and Building physics strategies for project developments and businesses
• Analyze, report, and model Environmentally Sustainable Design projects and liaise with clients to expand the sustainability portfolio
• Support and develop key work streams including building physics, environmental modelling, planning and certification, whole life carbon, climate resilience, ESG policy, building performance, health and wellbeing, net zero carbon services, and sustainable strategy

This role drives change and decarbonises the built environment by designing innovative, sustainable and energy efficient solutions that minimise natural resource use, helping businesses respond to sustainability legislation and stakeholder expectations, and working toward Cundall's Zero Carbon Design 2030 goal.

• Engineering, Architecture or built environment-related degree
• LEED AP certification
• 3 to 6 years of experience within ESD consulting & Building Physics in the built environment sector, specifically in the MENA region
• Experience with preparing strategy, implementation and certification of best practice schemes, including LEED, BREEAM, WELL, GSAS, Estidama and Mostadam
• Advanced Experience in Microclimate and building physics modelling (Energy, Daylight, Comfort, Parametrics) in general, and Design Builder & IES-VE software in specific
• Familiarity with Architectural modelling software platforms, including Revit, Sketchup & Rhino
• Solid understanding of the relevant industry codes across the MENA region
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills, strong presentation & reporting skills, excellent organizational skills
