How to Apply for Sustainability Consultant @ Climate Tech Start-up (m/w/d) - 100% Remote möglich

at Global Changer

🏢 About Global Changer

Global Changer is a climate tech start-up that offers an efficient platform guiding B2B companies to achieve swift Net-Zero emissions through automated data solutions. Joining means contributing to a mission-driven team that leverages technology to simplify carbon management, making a tangible impact on corporate sustainability at scale.

About This Role

As a Sustainability Consultant, you'll independently manage client relationships, process sustainability data to create Corporate Carbon Footprints (CCF) and Product Carbon Footprints (PCF), and validate software outputs. Your insights will directly shape the software's evolution, ensuring it meets real-world needs for Net-Zero management.

💡 A Day in the Life

A typical day might start with a client call to discuss data collection for a new PCF project, followed by analyzing emission factors and validating software outputs. You'll then collaborate with the product team to suggest improvements based on client feedback, and end the day by updating project plans and preparing for the next day's deliverables.

🎯 Who Global Changer Is Looking For

  • You have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in sustainability consulting or corporate sustainability, specifically with CCF, PCF, or LCA reporting.
  • You are fluent in German (C2) and English (C1), enabling seamless communication with clients and internal teams.
  • You possess a hands-on mentality, ready to dive into operational tasks like emission factor matching and reviewing software results.
  • You excel in project management and communication, capable of building strong client relationships and driving projects forward independently.
