Sustainability Consultant

• Develop sustainability project goals, objectives, initiatives, or strategies in collaboration with other sustainability professionals.
• Monitor or track sustainability indicators such as energy usage, natural resource usage, waste generation, and recycling.
• Support the Materials Team by reviewing drawings, CAD and Revit files for quantity estimations and material selections, and create architectural specs to reach target sustainability thresholds.
• Develop iterative embodied carbon simulations, analyze energy modeling reports, and perform Life Cycle Assessments for industrial and commercial projects.

This role directly contributes to reducing the environmental footprint of buildings by guiding sustainable design, reducing carbon emissions, and promoting green building certifications, thereby combating climate change and fostering a more sustainable built environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Sustainable Building Studies, Building Science, Sustainability Studies, or a related field.
• Two years of experience in sustainable design and consulting including performing Life Cycle Assessments using Athena, EC3 and Cove Tool; proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Suite, and Revit.
• Experience with carbon emissions reduction, reviewing construction documents, creating LEED compliant WBLCA reports, and Carbon Accounting reports compliant with GHG Protocol, EN and ISO standards.
• WELL Performance Testing Agent certification required.
