What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Work on legal issues at the intersection of climate change and industrial animal agriculture
  • Conduct legal and factual research relating to novel uses of state environmental statutes and constitutional amendments
  • Research potential administrative law and consumer protection claims to address climate-washing relating to animal products
  • Investigate potential claims grounded in the vulnerability of animal agriculture industry infrastructure to climate-related natural disasters

This role helps address the climate harms of animal agriculture through litigation strategies, holding livestock corporations responsible for their climate pollution and contributing to climate change mitigation efforts.

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Students at U.S. law schools who will have completed at least one year of law school
  • Students graduating from law school prior to summer 2026 are eligible
  • LLM students are eligible
  • Strong legal research and writing skills (implied by writing sample requirement)
