Summer 2026 Internal Communications Internship

Under the supervision of the Internal Communications Program Manager:

• Draft materials and language to provide guidance to Atlas space managers and content creators, post updated policies on Atlas for all Earthjustice staff, etc.
• Collect and post standard information about departments and teams.
• Support ad-hoc work to update various fields on Atlas.

This role supports Earthjustice's internal communications by improving their intranet site (Atlas), helping to enhance organizational efficiency and information sharing, which contributes to the organization's mission of protecting people's health, preserving places and wildlife, advancing clean energy, and combating climate change through environmental law.

• Enrolled in a college/university program as a sophomore or junior during fall 2026. Preference given to those in the communications or related liberal arts field.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Collaborative spirit for working with peers in team-based environment. Demonstrated commitment to Earthjustice's values of Justice, Excellence, Inclusion, and Partnership.

Interns at Earthjustice receive an hourly rate that is considered taxable income. The summer 2026 hourly rate for undergraduate students is $19.18.
