Summer 2026 Intern - Machine Learning

• Participate in discovery, requirements gathering, and prototyping of new tools and libraries
• Implement tooling and features to support machine learning model development and deployment under the direction of a full-time Machine Learning Engineer
• Participate in code reviews and implement/update tests (unit, integration)
• Track tasks and complete status updates using internal tools while working in an Agile development methodology

This role contributes to Workiva's data science efforts within the Data Management and Analytics organization, providing hands-on experience in the machine learning lifecycle to support the development of impactful data solutions.

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in statistics, math, computer science, physics, electrical engineering, or equivalent certifications
• Possess solid programming skills and basic experience with source control systems such as Git
• Familiarity with the data science lifecycle, basic machine learning concepts, and REST APIs
• Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud platforms (AWS), and proficiency with Python and/or Go
