Student Assistant, Department of Data Protection & Information Security

Core responsibilities include:

• Answering telephone and written citizen inquiries about data protection law matters
• Creating cases and filing the inquiries received by the department from citizens
• Processing cases regarding data subjects' rights under data protection rules and transfer of personal data
• Drafting written materials such as supervision of data processors, policies, and procedures
• Assisting with updating overviews and overviews of policies and procedures
• Handling web editorial tasks such as updating web content

This role contributes to protecting citizens' sensitive and confidential personal data and other information that SSI is responsible for, ensuring necessary confidentiality, integrity, and availability in relation to SSI's various information.

Required qualifications:

• Studying law, political science or similar at the master's level
• Interest in data protection law and information security
• Good writing skills and takes pride in delivering thorough work
• Open and appreciative attitude toward other people
• Systematic and structured approach to tasks
• Takes responsibility for assigned tasks and cares about completing them
