Mission

What you will drive

Focused Technical Scope:

  • Lead racking-system structural foundation analysis, including wind, seismic, and snow load evaluation per ASCE 7, IBC, and manufacturer criteria.
  • Design and verify steel pile foundations for a variety of project sites, considering geotechnical design parameters, environmental conditions, and racking vendor design requirements.
  • Review and qualify racking vendor calculations, drawings, and submittals for compliance with project and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Support the development of Revamp’s internal design standards, tools, and templates for racking layout and structural modeling.
  • Perform independent verification of third-party racking designs to ensure safety, reliability, and code compliance.
  • Support auxiliary non-racking PV and BESS equipment foundation design, as required.

Project & Technical Leadership:

  • Create structural engineering plans, details, and calculations for renewable energy and substation projects.
  • Design concrete and steel foundations for project equipment to meet jurisdictional requirements at local, state, and federal levels for a variety of geotechnical parameters and soil types.
  • Lead multiple concurrent projects and apply broad knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard and advanced engineering methods, procedures, and criteria.
  • Serve as a primary structural point of contact for project teams within assigned portfolios.
  • Coordinate closely with other disciplines (civil, electrical, and project engineering) to ensure full design alignment across project deliverables.
  • Prepare project documents, including calculations, specifications, and drawings, ensuring technical quality and compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Develop work plans and allocate assignments for discipline team members.
  • May act as Engineer of Record for structural scope of work.

Client, Collaboration & Quality:

  • Represent the structural discipline in internal and external meetings with professionalism and confidence.
  • Support client interaction for multiple projects within a single portfolio, providing technical insights and resolving engineering challenges.
  • Contribute to proposals for professional services, including scope definition and level-of-effort estimation.
  • Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and field issue resolution.
  • Mentor and support the technical development of staff engineers.
  • Ensure all designs comply with applicable safety standards, codes, and practices, including ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360/341, IBC, and NDS.
  • Develop or recommend process improvements, tools, or techniques that enhance design efficiency and consistency.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or directed.

Impact

The difference you'll make

This role contributes directly to accelerating the global energy transition by designing structural foundations for utility-scale solar and hybrid PV + BESS projects, helping to advance renewable energy infrastructure and combat climate change.

Profile

What makes you a great fit
