Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Lead on developing and delivering APUK's organisational strategy, identifying opportunities for sustainable growth, and strengthening systems and infrastructure
- Develop and implement income generation strategies, including securing grants, building partnerships, and exploring new funding opportunities such as training and commissioned services
- Oversee marketing and communications strategy to raise APUK's profile and engagement with communities, partners, and stakeholders
- Support internal development, including governance, monitoring and evaluation systems, and supporting the charity's expansion as it grows

What makes you a great fit
Required skills and experience:
- Strong experience in strategic development, organisational growth, or income generation within the charity or not-for-profit sector
- Confident communicator with a proven track record of securing funding, building partnerships, and delivering strategic initiatives
- Understanding and commitment to Disabled People's Organisation principles, neurodiversity, and the social model of disability
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a remote, values-led organisation and able to manage priorities strategically within a part-time role
