States Support Director

Core responsibilities:

• Manage two State Support Analysts in directly supporting the data and reporting needs of non-core America Votes states
• Oversee state support by building and maintaining transparent, sustainable, and flexible processes to meet data needs across multiple states and races
• Support State Data Directors by creating, implementing, and maintaining processes and resources, conducting 1:1s, and owning weekly communications
• Fill in support gaps and work with national partners running programs across multiple states as needed

This role creates positive change by supporting data-driven decision-making to strengthen voting rights, build a more representative democracy, and win elections that advance progressive causes like working families, reproductive freedom, and environmental protection.

Required qualifications:

• Strong leadership and prioritization abilities with experience managing under pressure and time crunches (election season)
• Experience managing projects to completion across multiple levels and creating systems for check-ins and buy-in
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple stakeholders with ability to manage relationships clearly
• Campaign analytics and VAN experience with strong SQL and advanced sheets capability, plus experience as a VAN admin
• A commitment to progressive values including racial equity, inclusion, and diversity

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary: $95,000
