State Traffic/ITS Leader - REMOTE

Core responsibilities:

• Serves as lead for mid to large size Traffic/ITS projects, including quality control reviews and technical specification preparation
• Business development activities including prospecting, proposal development, and project procurements with state and local transportation agencies
• Provides specialized technical expertise for studies, designs, and complex technical solutions for clients
• Manages project teams, develops procedures, and contributes to engineering budget and schedule development

This role contributes to improving transportation infrastructure and traffic management systems in multiple states, enhancing public safety and mobility through intelligent transportation solutions.

Required qualifications:

• Proven track record of obtaining and managing large transportation projects with local and state agencies
• Experience specifically within Traffic and ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) disciplines
• Established relationships with local clients including DOT, counties, and local agencies
• Excellent people management skills and ability to lead projects and teams
