Mission

What you will drive

  • Manage Brady's state legislative advocacy efforts in priority states, including direct communication with legislators and staff.
  • Track and analyze state legislation affecting gun violence prevention and intersectional policy areas.
  • Develop testimony, letters, reports, and talking points to support advocacy work.
  • Coordinate with grassroots advocates, partner organizations, and internal teams to advance policy goals.

What makes you a great fit

  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience in state or national policy advocacy, think tank, campaign, or similar background.
  • Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting legislative policy.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to advancing racial and social equity and centering communities of color.
