Mission

What you will drive

  • Develop and execute strategies for Oklo's state and local government engagement, with a focus on priority states including Tennessee.
  • Represent Oklo before state and local elected officials, regulatory agencies, and other key stakeholders, including trade associations.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on relevant state legislation, regulations, and policy trends affecting Oklo's business.
  • Build and maintain relationships with state legislators, local government officials, industry associations, and community leaders.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelor's degree in political science, public policy, communications, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in state or local government affairs, legislative advocacy, or public policy.
  • Proven ability to navigate legislative and regulatory processes and to build relationships across the political spectrum.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex policy issues.
