Staff UX Designer, AI Investment

Core responsibilities:

• Design AI-powered features for Firefox on desktop, guiding ideas from early sketches to live experiences
• Combine familiar interface patterns with inventive AI features so browsing feels fresh, fast, and easy to use
• Work autonomously to identify problems and propose solutions that align with product strategy, user insights, and technical constraints
• Use storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes to explore and refine new ways for people to interact with AI in the browser

This role shapes how millions of people interact with the web by designing AI-powered features in Firefox that balance trusted UI patterns with bold, forward-thinking AI innovations, helping to reclaim an internet built for people, not companies.

Required skills and experience:

• 7+ years of product design experience, ideally working with complex workflows or multi-step processes
• Experience designing AI experiences for consumer products with large user bases
• Background in ethical AI practices and privacy-first design
• Proficiency with Figma and other modern prototyping tools, knowledge of design systems and tools like Jira
