Staff Technical Product Manager-Internal Tools & Platforms

• Take on emerging challenges and opportunities by partnering with stakeholders to surface pain points, diagnose root causes, and identify common themes, then turning insights into a roadmap that accelerates impact.
• Build 0-to-1 products and platform capabilities from scratch, and evolve in-flight tools to scale and longevity.
• Provide cross-functional leadership by partnering closely with business stakeholders, engineering, design, and other product teams, influencing architecture and integration decisions without direct authority.

By building internal tools and platforms that streamline operations and enhance customer experience, this role directly supports Scout Motors' mission to revolutionize the electric vehicle market with sustainable, innovative transportation solutions.

• 7+ years of product management experience with a track record of supporting a range of product types or business domains; 3+ years of experience leading enterprise-scale platforms.
• Strong technical fluency across modern product and platform concepts, including data models, backend services, UI/UX, integration patterns with third-party APIs, operational considerations for systems handling customer and payment data, and best practices for building AI features in enterprise environments.
• High tolerance for ambiguity, strong product judgment, pattern recognition across domains, scrappy and resourceful with a bias toward action, clear written and verbal communication, and comfort owning outcomes in influence-based environments.

• Base salary range: $140,000 - $170,000 (initial); California: $154,000 - $187,000
