Staff Software Engineer, Full

Core responsibilities:

• Design, build, and scale the services, APIs, and front-end applications that power IUNU's platform and partner interfaces
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on system architecture, long-term vision, and team best practices across both backend logic and frontend user experience
• Lead the delivery of high-impact initiatives end-to-end, from requirements gathering to rollout, with a focus on quality and timeliness
• Work closely with product, design, and cross-functional teams to translate complex horticultural, environmental, and business requirements into robust technical solutions

This role contributes to building technology that empowers commercial greenhouse growers with critical insights like yield forecasting and pest detection to drive operational efficiency and reduce waste, supporting a more sustainable future for agriculture.

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Expert fluency in Typescript and SQL
• Extensive experience with React, Next.JS, Node.JS, or other modern web frameworks
• Experience in mobile app development including React Native or other mobile frameworks
• Demonstrated success designing and leading the delivery of robust, scalable systems from concept to production
• Expertise in mapping complex real-world logic into efficient data structures and algorithmic models that scale with high-dimension data
